Choosing Your Bar Service at The Wenbeck
We hold a State of Ohio Liquor License, which allows us to offer bar service directly rather than sending couples out to find their own vendor. We offer three bar service options, so it helps to understand how each one works before choosing the best fit for your reception.
Three Ways to Pour: BYOB+, Drink Packages, and Cash Bar
We offer three bar service structures. The first is BYOB+, where our team sources the alcohol, mixers, non alcoholic beverages, and bartenders on your behalf. Any unopened beer, wine, seltzers, and champagne left over can go home with you, while liquor must remain on the premises under Ohio liquor laws.
The second option is our Drink Packages, with four curated packages that include unlimited drinks, standard mixers, non alcoholic beverages, and your first two bartenders. As with BYOB+, alcohol and non alcoholic drinks purchased through the package cannot leave the property. The third option is a cash bar, and this is the one with the day-of-week restriction.

Our Black Resin Bentwood chairs are padless and are now our house chairs. Gold Chiavari chairs with white pads are available as an upgrade. Wedding amenities also include linen rental, liability insurance, wireless internet, overnight parking, and accessible venue spaces.
Two Spaces, One Waterfront Setting
Your bar service is also part of a celebration that can make use of both our indoor and outdoor event spaces. Our All-Seasons Pavilion includes heat, ceiling fans, retractable glass doors, lighting, and ample outlets, giving couples a weather-flexible ceremony option throughout the year. It opens onto a 3,000 square foot patio overlooking one of three ponds across our 28-acre property.
For the reception, The Wenbeck Ballroom comfortably accommodates up to 210 guests and features a large dance floor, upper balcony access, and a projection screen extending from floor to ceiling. Couples can also use the All-Seasons Pavilion and The Wenbeck Ballroom together, creating additional flexibility for different parts of the celebration. A stylish Wedding Suite with separate getting-ready rooms is also available so you and your partner can prepare for the celebration in comfort.

We work closely with a preferred list of professional caterers, but couples are also welcome to select a caterer outside that list. When a nonpreferred caterer is used, The Wenbeck works with Top Shelf Events to provide service staff.
